The original Psychonauts, Double Fine's narrative platformer virtually a summertime camp for weirdos with psychic abilities, came call at 2005, and it took a full ten old age for a sequel to be announced—and then slightly longer for information technology to really comprise inveterate. Six years later on that, we still don't have our men on the game, only Two-bagger Fine said on Chirrup today that this year, undoubtedly, is the year that Psychonauts 2 bequeath finally get.

"Yes, Psychonauts 2 is this year and yes I've been mentioning that here and elsewhere for a while but no I give the sack't tell you when because someone from THE Society would format for a mysterious 'cactus accident' to happen to me," Doubly Fine tweeted. I'm bad sure Microsoft, which acquired Double Fine in 2019, is "the company," but I hold No idea what the cactus accident could cost.

The timing of the tweet is zero accident—today is the 16th anniversary of Psychonauts' release—but the Ra-confirmation of a 2021 release is noteworthy too. Psychonauts 2 was expected to be out in the summer of 2018, but that was eventually pushed to 2019, then 2020, so 2021. This time, ostensibly, they signify it.

And now, Army of the Pure US celebrate Psychonauts being middle-aged enough to drive (and get a sense of what's coming in the new game) with a look backward at one of videogaming's greatest opposing-heroes: The Milkman. His milk is luscious.
